
Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux systems, Office applications, and statistical software.īrief Description of Duties: The Postdoctoral Associate will conduct research in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences under the supervision of Principal Investigator, Dr. Familiarity with GIS, CARIS, QPS, MatLab, Python, and/or similar software used in processing, analyzing or displaying multibeam data. Familiarity with the multibeam bathymetry echosounding technique. (or foreign equivalent) in marine sciences, earth science, ocean engineering or a related field in hand by June 1, 2022. The selected candidate will perform data analysis, write proposals for external support, and prepare manuscripts for publication in appropriate specialized journals.
